Our Process

Start working with AB Bespoke Home

Start by navigating to our Contact page and filling out a short questionnaire. Please include your name, email address, and a phone number where you can be reached. Tell us about your project goals (e.g. kitchen remodel to meet the needs of our growing family), desired timeline, and expected budget.

Outreach and follow-up

With your initial information in hand, we’ll set up a quick phone call to verify a few details. This should take approximately 15 minutes and will confirm we are able to realize your vision as your building partner. From here, most clients opt for a paid, in-person meeting ($150) to show us their space and meet our team; this usually takes 1-2 hours and is fully refundable when we decide to move forward in working together. During this meeting, we’ll gather additional details about your project and share more about our process.

Pre-Construction Agreement

Diving deeper into your project, we’ll work together to nail down your design aesthetic, select materials, and ensure overall viability. We’ll create a detailed schedule and accurate budget you can count on, pull in other necessary professionals (architect, engineers, trade partners, etc.), and get all required pieces in place to start your project. This will include coordinating with your municipality to pull requisite permits. This process can take 1-6 months depending on project complexity. A major goal of the pre-construction process is to avoid changes down the road.

Project Execution

After an exhaustive pre-construction process, your project will be fully built… on paper. The fun can now begin on bringing your vision to life in the real world. You’ll quickly see our team on site creating (managed) dust and doing the physical work to bring your project to reality. This process will last anywhere from a few weeks to a year or longer based on the scope of work; you’ll have a clear idea of the exact timeline before the first hammer is swung, though project changes will likely add time to your project.
